Appearance and Smell

Ice weed plants grow only 3 to 6 feet tall. The nugget above has a true chunky indica look. You can see the dark green buds studded with orangish pistils and especially smothered in white frosty trichomes full of THC from which the term ice likely derives. Although the plant does not have the highest known THC levels, there is something to be said by how sticky and packed the THC is, as this can give you a particularly concentrated high since it’s kinda like smoking dabs, whereas evenly distributed THC of the same level may not hit as hard.

Growing weed from Ice cannabis seeds or cuttings is of easy difficulty. Flowering will take eight to eleven weeks, this is when your beautiful buds come out, covered in icy trichomes. Sheer off your buds and hang them to try. Store them in darkened mason jars. Don’t get rid of the rest of your plants. Hemp is one of the most useful plants on the planet as far as humans are concerned. You can make all kinds of medicines and clothing with the remainder of the plant.

An article in Forbes revealed that there are at least two ways in which cannabis helps with PTSD. One, it blocks fear responses in the amygdala. One study even measured the reactivity of the amygdala in people with and without THC and found reduced fear response in those given THC.^[1]

Researchers found a failure of the extinction of fear related memories in PTSD, and theorize the use of cannabis can jumpstart the ‘forgetting’ of the emotional, fear part of the memory. It turns out forgetting parts of memories is just as important as remembering parts of the memory. However, remembering the content of the memory may be sufficient to prevent a repeat while being excessively fearful of the event can cause us to be unable to function in regular daily life.
