Swiftly moving air helps to cut down on this. You also need a humidity monitor to make sure you keep your humidity incorrect parameters. Your humidity will always be between 40 % and 70 %. Your plants will need higher humidity in their youth and crisp, dry air when they are older. You need a fan to keep the air moving. Your air contains more than oxygen, there is also nitrogen and CO2. Seedling stage, one to two weeks

Your plants will need the most light when they are seedlings, from eighteen up to 24 hours of light. They also need the highest humidity, as much as 70 %. After two weeks, they may produce recognizable weed fan leaves and are ready to move on to the next stage.

Vegetative stage, two to eight weeks

During this stage, your plants will continue to grow. At this point, you can tell the sex of the plant. The females will grow pistils that reach out to grab pollen. This is when you want to remove the males so that your plants do not become pollinated and produce seeds.  Your humidity at this point will be about fifty percent and your lighting should be about twelve hours per day.

Flowering, seven to nine weeks

Now your female plants are ready to produce buds. They will need 12 hours of light and 12 hours of dark to know they are late in the growing season. This will induce them to flower by mimicking an equinox, equal parts day, and equal parts night. Once they flower, they will be ready for harvest.

Now you need 12 hours light, 12 hours dark to induce flowering.

Harvesting

You can tell when your plants are ready for harvest because the pistils will mature to a brown color or some people see a dark orange color. You are ready to trim your buds and hang them to dry.
