Appearance and Smell
Duct Tape weed plants grow 3 to 6 feet tall. These are small plants with a low yield. You can see the nuggets above. They are surely hairy and Sativa looking but also have a grainy Indica look. You can see they are covered with frosty trichomes from which they get their generous coat of THC richness. You can barely see the green bud and orange pistils through all that good kief on top. That is how you want your buds to look, drowning in THC. The fragrance of Duct Tape Strain is like duct tape, it has a chemical and sticky taste. Who knows what chemical it is used in duct tape to stick things together but it must be somehow related to the sticky plant resins which have similar properties. These resins sometimes contain some kind of sugar, other times they are a trap for insects to get stuck in so that the insects don’t eat all of the plant’s poor little babies. In any case, this plant has the smell of earth, diesel, tape, sweetness, and pungency.
How to Grow Duct Tape Cannabis Seeds or Cuttings
Growing weed from Duct Tape cannabis seeds or cuttings is of easy difficulty. You won’t get great yields per plant or per square meter from these plants. Growers may tend to grow these later in the growing season and then to use a lot of floor space to maximize their yield. What you can expect from these plants are up to 25 % THC and a real gassy taste. People love this weed, that’s why they put up with short plants that take up a lot of floor space.
First you need to get a cutting from a mature plant or seeds from a reputable grower. Because these plants are so peculiar, you can tolerate nothing but the real deal, otherwise, there’s no reason to grow a plant that is so short yet takes up so much space, unless you know it is real deal. The real gas that’s gonna knock your customers shoes off and have them coming back begging for that true gas you gave them last time that made them feel like the first time all over again.
You can grow from a cutting or a seed. When you grow from a cutting, you just take a stem and leaf from a mature plant, which in this case is just a 3 foot tall plant, then you put it in some rockwool with water and sunlight till it grows some roots, then you grow that plant into a fully mature clone of the original plant. If that’s not magic, I don’t know what is. You can also grow from seeds of course. Get your seeds from a reputable vendor. Germinate them by placing them in between two wet paper towels covered by plates for three to ten days. You will get a little root and a little leaf ready to go into the ground.
During your seedling stage, you’re gonna wait two to three weeks for your baby plants to grow some mature leaves and a stem powerful enough to stand on it’s own two feet or two roots in the world. Once they are ready to go, each will enter the vegetative stage for as long as 4 months. They will grow into adults and differentiate between man and woman. You want to remove the males to stop them from impregnating the females, producing seeds and small buds, unless this is what you desire as in seeds for replanting or resale.
Flowering will take eight to eleven weeks and you will get all the big buds you want full of cannabinoids and terpenes. These you shear them off and hang them to dry. Once cured, you can store them in darkened mason jars. You can get about one ounce per plant, so to make it worth selling, you’ll need a lot of floor space and a lot of plants. However, they pack a punch of 25 % THC with a strong diesel taste so they won’t disappoint.
Medicinal Marijuana Review
Duct Tape cannabis plants are 50 percent Indica and 50 percent Sativa. THC levels can be up to 25 %.
This is a good weed for back pain. Back pain can be one of the most intractable types of pain one experiences. Pain in the back appears to be an evolutionary throwback to when humans walked on all fours. Now, standing upright, the back lacks the kind of support it once had and the spine can become curved in all kinds of twisted ways once not possible for our quadrupedal ancestors.
There can be pain in the lower back, middle back, or upper back, all with different names and ways of treating it. Once, opioid treatment was a mainstay of treating back pain. However, since the opioid epidemic, doctors are now wary of treating backpain with opioids, no matter how severe the pain.
Luckily, this pain can now be treated with medical marijuana. Everything from herbal marijuana to patches made by companies like Mary’s Medicinals are available for the treatment of back pain. Duct Tape strain weed is strong enough and packs enough of a THC punch to tackle even the most intractable forms of back pain.

There appears to be some dissatisfaction with Vidacann flowers bought in Florida. It is not known if this extends to Duct Tape strains produced and purchased on the West Coast. Duct tape has a decidedly diesel taste. It goes straight to the head just like a whiff of diesel gasoline, which some people do indeed huff in order to get high. Of course smoking weed is many times healthier than huffing gasoline fumes, so stick with nature. Although weed is sometimes called gas, it contains no gasoline unless you happen upon a bad batch of butane hash oil which has been insufficiently prepared, leaving behind a large amount of butane which is not supposed to be the case as this can cause illness. Rather, the terpenes referred to as ‘gas’ in marijuana are nothing of the sort and are much better for you than actual forms of gas, diesel, or butane fuel. Stick with the medicines mother earth made specifically for you to cure ailments of all kinds not just in humans but the many insects and mammals which consume weeds when ill, as you’ve no doubt seen dogs eat grass when ill. This is a phenomenon that happens in many animals including humans who know how to use plant medicines when we become ill.
