Appearance and Smell

The Mimosa strain smells deeply of sage. It is citrusy, with flavors of orange and lemon. This is created by high levels of a terpene called limonene. It also has nature and floral fragrances, giving off the smell of mountain and stream. This is sometimes said to be awake you up the strain to be used in the morning by those with a high pot tolerance.

Mimosa weed is a medium-sized plant. The dried nuggets look dark and light green. It is studded with orange pistils. It is not overly sticky or blanketed in trichomes but packs a large punch of THC in the buds.

How to Grow Mimosa Cannabis Seeds or Cuttings

Growing weed from Mimosa cannabis seeds or cuttings is still currently an industry secret, but it is catching on. It can grow well in an Emerald Triangle type of environment. If you are going to create this environment indoors, you need a well lit grow tent. Put reflective lining around the tent to keep all the light reflecting inside. Use High Discharge lamps to mimic the constant California sun. You need to keep the air crisp, dry, and clean. Use a fan and exhaust system with a filter to get any nasty stuff out of the air. Around 9 weeks, you can induce flowering with a 12 hours light and 12 hours dark routine. Once your plants flower, you can come away with a bountiful harvest.

Outside, find a spot with lots of sunlight, dry air, good organic soil, and add Flower Power or another fertilizer and nutrients if needed. Your plants will flower in about 9 weeks and be ready for harvesting, drying, curing, storing, and smoking.

Medicinal Marijuana Review / Focus on ADHD

Mimosa is a 70 percent Sativa and 30 percent Indica with up to 27 percent THC. This is a very powerful weed. It is able to provide substantial stimulation. This strain is often recommended for those with ADHD who benefit from stimulation.

ADHD stands for Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder. It is considered a mental disease and a problem in neurodevelopment. It is characterized by difficulty sustaining attention and controlling behavior. It is diagnosed by the age of 12 but let’s consider all information here as pertaining mostly to adult ADHD. There are two types, one is mostly defined by inattention, the other by hyperactivity, difficulty sitting still and controlling behavior. ADHD is thought to have both genetic and environmental causes. ADHD is often treated with stimulants like lisdexafetamine, amphetamine, and methamphetamine. These treatments can have side effects such as anxiety, irritability, psychosis in overdose, and anger. Also, these drugs can be diverted for illicit uses and often are. Medical marijuana, especially highly stimulating Sativas like Mimosa, can also provide stimulation while at the same time producing a calming effect. It can have less severe side effects than the typical treatments although the typical treatments are said to be well-tolerated. Medical marijuana can augment the effects of these medications. It is particularly aimed at calming the individual without producing sedation and inattentiveness. Mimosa provides a clear-headed, cerebral effect. It can reduce hyperactivity and impulsivity by slowing the sufferer down. This can allow them to focus and work and a single task.

Mimosa may also be particularly useful for patients with cancer who are experiencing severe fatigue. Fatigue in cancer can be caused by cancer itself, but also by the treatments, such as that of chemotherapeutic agents, and also radiation treatments. Both of these can cause the sufferer to feel tired and depressed, which can slow down recovery. Medical marijuana has been shown to have a positive effect on cancer cells themselves, but there is better evidence that it can be helpful in treating pain, fatigue, and nausea. Fatigue is often directly proportional to pain. Pain is a signal that tells the body to stop. When the patient gets this signal all the time, they feel their energy has been drained and the sufferer can also feel very depressed. This stimulating, high THC weed can restore energy levels, get rid of pain, and brighten the mood of the person suffering from cancer and from side effects of cancer treatment. As a bonus, it will also treat nausea which is a hallmark of chemotherapy treatment. It can be difficult for the patient to swallow anti-nausea medications, so an alternative which can be smoked is a great avenue for the patient to get relief. This will allow the patient to regain appetite and to put on weight which will prevent the wasting associated with cancer and the treatments for cancer.

Mimosa marijuana is a powerful Sativa with some of the highest THC levels available in any weed. You will probably have to go to a registered dispensary to get it. Symbiotic Genetics is closely guarding this weed for the time being so to get the real deal, you have to go to a legit source. Once you have this weed, it’s like gold. The first hit will get you clear-headed and stimulated, rather than lazy and stupid. Even with these powerful THC levels, this is a get-up and go weed. You will want to get something done. It’s best to do this at home, around those you trust, at a time where your schedule is free and you have few responsibilities. This is because this is gonna be what you are doing for the time being. Your actions and experiences will henceforth be determined by the effects of the weed. Your thoughts will tend to tilt toward the creative and speculative. You will begin to have insights about yourself and your world. You will have some deep conversations with your fellows. If you are gonna work on something, let it be something creative. This may be a good time to jot down some thoughts. You may want to grab a paper and pencil or canvas and some paint. Go ahead and see what comes out. You will be in a state which could allow you to express important insights through the painting which you would not otherwise be able to express. Don’t let these precious moments of insight slip away. You want to transition out of your high having picked your brain and come away with golden insights.

Mimosa Marijuana Strain

Mimosa was really popular (and extremely recommended by the bartender) in the local pharmacy when I got there last time. I decided to give it a chance as the aroma was amazing: airy and still deep, just like mimosa. I went home and rolled it up at once. These were the first several hits in a few weeks and it tasted like sweet woods. My tolerance level decreases a little bit throughout this time and I definitely underestimated this strain's potency. For a novice it's a one hitter-quitter. First hour I was buried under extreme anxiety attack. Sometimes it just really gets to me but that time I went to Target at peak time and it was worse than the scariest dream you've ever had. I was so mad at myself for smoking it and going somewhere! But soon this feeling passed and I found myself very focused on my surroundings. Gosh, every time I smoke sativa dominant strains I become a complete weirdo on public, but I feel really good when I'm alone at home. So I just don't leave my house. But my friend (who's dealing with depression) told me once it was great. It made him more energetic, focused and happy and allowed him to get out of his bed and conquer the day. Who knew it would have a completely different effect on me! So be careful when smoking this, mind your anxieties and better stay home if you feel like that.

I've heard of this Mimosa strain several times ago but yesterday finally decided to try it (yeah I have a long list of strains I wanna try with a particular hierarchy). I chose a 1000mg *Diamond Stixx Vape Catridge that cost me near $30-35. At first though I decided to make my morning a little bit happier and moving slightly less painful by smoking another nice strain Sour Jack as a flower. It did help with my aches and fill me with energy but also made me irritable, so it was the perfect time to move to the next strain: Mimosa. I was showered and ready for that. The moment it got into my lungs I felt strong willing to make a peach smoothie. I went to the kitchen started cutting the peaches and made several puffs more. The reaction was like this: I took all the fruits I had in my house and started throwing all of them into the smoothie trying to guess what amount would be the best. Also decided to add oats and honey, it was extremely tasty! It all sounds like I got severe munchies but actually it was PURE inspiration! Such a big difference with my usual state! Unlike Sour Jack, Mimosa is a relaxing and creative strain. It goes really well with Zen nature sounds, crickets, wind in the leaves... Your mind will LOVE it. And your body will ask for working out or at least yoga to get rid of all that energy.

Very easy to grow outside in the true Northern California in Del Norte county. We have somewhat pretty good weather when you don’t live in the town itself So I didn’t get hardly any mold on my plants that I had growing very impressed considering they were a newer plant not native around this area. The buds didn’t get as big as expected but still pleased with the end results though. So far my customers love this strain they say it’s perfect for them because they don’t get lazy and actually get motivated to do something. If given the chance to grow with these plants again I would in a heart beat
