Its name Vanilla Frosting comes from the fact that the green buds and orange pistils are drowned out by the wealth of THC- filled, frosty trichomes. Screen of Green

Today we’re gonna learn about the screen of green method. As a disclaimer, this method is best for long, lanky Sativas but let’s see if we can maximize these short Indicas. You will have to put the screen somewhat lower than described likely to train shorter plants.
With the SCROG method you’re gonna train a girl up in the way she should go. You will get a healthier plant. You can protect your plants from disease. Screen of green is gonna give you a thick canopy of leaf and bud.
Screen of green is gonna weave your plants through a horizontal wire mesh rather than allowing them to grow tall. You will be able to get greater yield in less vertical space.

You can maximize light exposure by having your lamps right above your canopy where your plants will be trained to weave though.
The horizontal set up will allow airflow to go across the canopy preventing the development of fungal or bacterial growth on your plants.
Screen of green can maximize indoor space and give you a greater yield even if growing somewhat covertly in the privacy of your own home.
You are going to place your screen about 20cm above the plants you will train to weave through the screen. The screen can be made of hemp rope or other line that is not harsh on the plant. What you need

• String. Hemp string is great but what you get at your gardening center will work. Just don’t get anything that’s gonna cut your precious plants.
• Frame to attach your string to and enclose your growing space.
• Pots. You can use several fabric pots or a big pot such as in the picture above. Your choice.

Top it off: Once you get about 5 branches coming off the main stem, snip the top to force it to create more branches so you get more stem to train through your screen and eventually more buds.
As your plants vegetate, move your screen up 20 to 40 cm. Keep your lights focused over the entire screen.
Direct your branches through the wire mesh as they grow.
Once you induce flowering you can get yield above the 6 ounces per plant produced by other methods or at least 6 ounces in less space.
