How to get urine to the right temperature for a drug test
Disclaimer
We will here describe methods and devices used to get a negative result on a urine drug test. We do not advocate that anyone try any of these methods or products in any jurisdiction where it is illegal. Synthetic urine has legal uses, such as testing and calibrates urine testing equipment. Also, you can try synthetic urine kits, such as Clear Choice Incognito Belt or Clear Choice Quick Luck . Synthetic penile or vaginal prostheses are often used as recreational erotic toys as well. We will describe how these devices are used. We are not instructing anyone to try any of these methods or to buy, sell, or possess any such product. Such products or methods may be illegal in some jurisdictions. Check your local, regional, state, and national laws before buying any such product or using any detox method.
What temp does urine need to be for a drug test?
Imagine, that you wanted to chill a little bit. Your friend offered you some Strain. After a relaxing evening, your boss announced a random drug test. Nobody will understand that you are a rare user. What should you do if you decided to use synthetic urine? Firstly, you should care about its temperature. The temperature of pee to pass a drug test is the normal temperature for human urine. This falls between 90 degrees Fahrenheit and 100 degrees Fahrenheit.
How to read temperature strips:
Your temperature strip on most synthetic urine products is going to look something like this. You can see here the green dot lands at 96 degrees Fahrenheit. If you don’t see any color, it means your urine is below 90 F or above 100 F so you must either heat or cool it till you get the right reading. It has to stay between 90 F and 100 F such that it is still in this range when you get it into the specimen cup. This is why mechanical or hand warmers are used. Body heat used to be used alone but it’s expected that temperature strips today are too sensitive and you can easily end up with the temperature range off without using a more exact method to keep the urine warm.
How to heat urine
How to use Urinator urine bottle with thermometer and heating element to keep piss warm
The Urinator and Dr. John’s Famous Pee Pee have become trusted brands since 1998, long before many other detox products ever existed. It’s one of the top pee testing beating gadgets. It has a warming component controlled carefully to keep the pee the specific right temperature.
The Urinator comes with:
- Eight free sample vials of Dr. John’s Famous concentrated ‘fake pee’ (not applicable to SC or CA).
- Two smaller temperature strips
- The Urinator bladder with a digital computerized heating element and attached hose, and a large temperature strip
- Syringe to inject your urine into the wearable bladder
Here’s how to use it:
Lots of fake The Urinator Kits are sold for which nobody can vouch for their adequacy and they have no ensures, for example, the genuine The Urinator accompanies. This unit will cost about $ 145.95 yet it is a genuine article. On the off chance that you don’t need it, return any new and unused item within 30 days and get a full discount (you must notify them of intent to return in 10 days from purchase).
- Mixed Dr. John‘s concentrated urine with 2.5 ounces of water. The synthetic urine vial you receive is concentrated, meaning it needs to be mixed with water in a clean cup.
- Remove the cap from your syringe and fluid bag.
- Utilize your needle to infuse your manufactured pee, at any rate, 2.5 ounces into your pee hose to the bladder. Press out overabundance air and recap your pee hose.
- Introduce 2 new nine-volt batteries into your Urinator . This will warm your pee to internal heat level in a short time and keep it there for 4 hours If you need it to warm up sooner, first microwave the urine for 10 seconds. A reason to skip this is that you would contaminate your urine in the process of microwaving it or cause some of it to evaporate. Likely you can just use warm water when you mix it, to begin with, to avoid any extremes.
- Conceal this on your body where legal. You need to practice using this because if you go to give the sample and they see you fumbling around, you can be busted. Most jurisdictions will not give you a hard time for getting caught, but some will charge you with a crime or revoke your probation, this has happened before in Texas and other states.[2]
- Practice getting your sample into a sample cup where you could do it skillfully even if observed. If you know that your sample will be observed, think twice before using this method. You might choose instead to use a dilution drink, which can be just as effective, especially if you practice the timing using a detox drink like Mega Clean and a store-bought urine drug test. Most tests you get at a pharmacy are identical to the tests you will face for employment or other uses, provided you buy from a name-brand store and company. Ultra cheap tests from eBay or third-world countries may be less effective than the one you will face on the job.
- That’s it. The Urinator basically does the job of keeping your synthetic or substitute urine warm for you for 4 hours. Let’s look at other ways people attempt to keep urine warm.

How to use a microwave to warm fake urine
Many urine kits will tell you to microwave the urine. For example, the trusted Quick Fix pre-mixed urine has to be microwaved for ten seconds on high. This should get it to between 90 to 100 F. If no temperature color is lit, that means it is either too hot or too cold, which you can tell by touching it. If it feels like nothing, it’s colder than your body temperature. If it feels warm, it’s too hot and you can just let it cool till you see the temperature correctly indicated.
How to keep urine warm for a drug test with hand warmers
Once you have your Quick Fix Urine Warm, replace the cap, and attach the hand warmer to the bottle with a rubber band.
Open the pack and remove the heating pad. Shake it up for 15 seconds. The chemicals will activate and start providing heat for 8 to 10 hours. Strap it to your synthetic urine, and strap them to your body. Again, you need to practice this or you will fumble it when crunch time comes.
How to use your body heat to keep your urine bag warm
You can use your body heat to help keep the urine warm but you don’t want to use only body heat because the surface of the body is always exposed to different temperatures and only inside the body does the temperature stay stable. You will not be placing the urine inside of your body because this is dangerous to do. So you need to strap the bottle to the warm surface of your body, with the heating pad on the other side so that it is sandwiched in between your body and the hand warmer, both at body temperature. If you have only your body, the side opposite of your body will cool. If you have the body contacting the heating pad, then the exposed side of the urine container will again cool. So keep the urine sandwiched in between the body and the heating pad.

FAQ
You can typically check pee temperature on the grounds that most pee bottles you purchase will have a pre-introduced temperature strip. In the event that for reasons unknown you have pee without a temperature strip, essentially utilize a thermometer to gauge the temperature and ensure it is still inside 90 to 100 Fright before you submit it
According to The American Thermal Instruments blog, “Under normal situations, fresh urine will display temperature between 90 and 100 degrees Fahrenheit on the temperature strip, if read within four minutes of the collection.” This means that it is up to your technician to be sure to read the temperature in time. If they wait longer than 4 minutes, then they can’t reliably dismiss the sample for being cooler than expected.
If your urine sample is too hot, all you have to do is wait till it reads around 96 degrees before you strap on a heating pad or install the batteries to the heating element of your The Urinator. From there, the temperature should automatically stay at the proper range.
If you buy a trustworthy product made for heating urine to body temperature, it should not overheat your urine. Even hand warmers meant for heating hands and not urine will not often produce a temperature much beyond body temperature since that would be dangerous and uncomfortable.
Storing urine samples for drug tests
Dry urine powder can last for years. Unopened Quick Fix pre-mixed urine, though not dry, can last for two years at room temperature away from sunlight. Regular human urine at room temperature can become stale in a matter of hours. Discard unrefrigerated urine after 5 hours if not used. Frozen urine can be kept for as long as 6 months, then thawed, heated to body temperature, and used within hours.
Does synthetic urine go bad? How long synthetic urine lasts:
How long you can keep synthetic urine depends on the brand.
Unopened Quick Fix Urine will last two years at room temperature away from sunlight.
Unopened Dr. John’s Famous Pee Pee concentrate will last one year. Once opened and mixed, it should be used within 24 hours or it can be refrigerated and used within 48 hours.
How to store urine for a future drug test?
If you have powdered urine, store it at room temperature for up to a year. Quick fixed mixed urine unopened can be stored in a dark place at room temperature for two years. Substitute or mixed urine can be frozen for up to 6 months, then thawed and used within the day.
Can you freeze urine for a future drug test?
How to preserve urine for drug test – one approach to beating a urine test is by freezing urine. This could be the urine of a friend or a sample is taken from when you were clean. There are many reasons why you’d prefer to freeze such a sample. For one, it can leave you with a clean sample ready to go without needing to worry about detoxing right before the test. Secondly, urine will degrade with time if it’s not preserved in some way or another and freezing is one of the most obvious ways to achieve this. The longer a urine sample is kept at room temperature, the less of a chance it has of passing as new, clean urine.
It has been shown scientifically that at room temperature (40 to 105 °F specifically) and with a moderate pH of about 4.5 to 8.5, microbes will multiply very quickly, approximately seeing a new generation as soon as every half an hour. One bacterium can turn into 1 billion cells within just a 15 hour period.[6]
While urine is sometimes considered sterile fluid, there’s a risk that air-borne fungi or urinary tract bacterium will contaminate your sample, multiple, and inevitably make your sample one that will fail to pass. All in all, freezing your urine right away can prevent any of this from happening in the first place.
Should I Freeze Urine?
Overall, freezing urine is not necessary if you have fresh real or synthetic urine on hand but if you have limited options or prefer to use your own real, clean urine from an earlier period, it is a reasonable approach. Many users have reported that it’s worked. Some individuals have employed frozen urine time and time again and claimed to have passed tests while others claim that any good tester will be able to pick up on a sample that had been preserved through freezing. For example, freezing can change the smell of urine, which should have a small but detectable amount of bacteria consuming proteins and sugars in the urine producing a characteristic odor.
Labs don’t all perform tests with the same approach so this could explain why some people have beaten urine tests with a frozen sample while others haven’t. Lab workers could perform a range of different chemical exams based on their preferences, philosophy, and available resources. Some technicians will surely smell the urine while others may disregard smell.
How to Freeze Pee?
It may be surprising to learn that there are a variety of tricks to freezing urine and more than you may expect. For instance, there are plenty of factors to take into account the size and composition of the container and the point in time at which you put the sample in a freezer. As for the container, you should pick one that is heavy-duty and which will do the job. Do not use anything made from porous materials or which features a thin layer of glass. You’ll want something that works similar to an actual urine sample container. So an appropriate deli container or a water bottle should do the job in this regard. Containers that may chip or leak pigments can contaminate your sample.
You’ll want a container that’s around 8 to 16 ounces in size. It’s essential that it’s spacious enough since an appropriate sample size would need enough room while not taking up too much space in the freezer. Don’t forget that liquid will expand once frozen so make sure you don’t fill the container right to the very top. Another important point to consider is that the container must be airtight too. Failure to do so can leave the sample vulnerable to a range of contaminants carried in the air like bacteria, fungi, paints, and plastics.
How Long Can I Freeze My Piss For?
Generally, you can keep pee frozen for about six months to a year without it becoming contaminated. It may be possible to keep it frozen for more than 12 months and still pass a test but it would be safer not to. If you end up keeping various frozen pee samples in your freezer, don’t forget to label them with the date when you put them in there so you can keep track of them.
Getting the Gravity Right?
The specific gravity is a comparison of how dense urine is compared with water. The purpose of this is in a medical sense is to check how effectively a person’s kidneys are concentrating urine as well as their hydration levels. Normally, urine-specific gravity falls between 1.002 and 1.035. If your sample’s specific gravity reaches values outside of this range, it will suggest to the testers that you’ve used a frozen, diluted or tampered sample. Since water and urine freeze at different temperatures, this could affect the specific gravity of your urine. This would be an argument either for not taking this approach entirely or at least not leaving it to freeze for too long as the longer you leave it, the higher the risk of the specific gravity being off.
Detox Laws and recent history
Before you decide to use a detox product or method, be sure to check the laws in your jurisdiction. Some states in the United States have laws against the use of detox products or detox methods.
The first law we want to consider is federal law. For example, if you have a case in the criminal justice system of the United States and are being monitored for drug use, attempting to beat your drug test with a detox product or method may be illegal.
The original maker of The Whizzinator, a fake urine and penis kit, owners of Puck Technologies were convicted of conspiracy to defraud the government of the United States for manufacturing the fake penis, synthetic urine delivery system. They were also convicted of one count of selling drug paraphernalia. They received 6 months in prison as well as a lengthy period of probation. Paradoxically, the product is still sold in nearly identical form but is marketed as an erotic sex toy.[7] This case goes to show that the zeal of some persons to make a career by policing the bodies of Americans is boundless and one would do well to be as discreet as possible.
In 2006, the first microwave pee incident occurred in Pittsburgh. A lady using a device like The Whizzinator requested that an agent microwave the contraption for her. She was then permitted to utilize the microwave herself and embedded the phony penis into the microwave. The agent saw a smell and checked the microwave and thought the article was a genuine penis and called the police. This story is strange in that most of these types of prostheses require only the urine to be microwaved and only for about 10 seconds. Anyway, this lack of discretion on the synthetic urine user’s part caused the clerk to panic and call the police. Police charged the woman with disorderly conduct. She was also on the hook for replacing the microwave which could no longer be used since ‘urine’ had been inside of it, even if this was in fact, sterile synthetic urine.
In 2019, two Texas men were caught using The Whizzinator and synthetic urine to pass drug tests. “Oluwabunmi Odu-Onikosi and Jesus Hilario were busted in Tarrant County within three days of each other in October for using the devices.’[8] Both of these guys had their probation revoked and they had to go back to prison. This happened ten years after the makers of The Whizzinator were convicted in federal court, making it certain that the device is still capable of being used to fool drug tests. It’s a class B misdemeanor in Texas to defraud a justice system drug test and could lead to a jail term of 180 days to use a device to falsify a drug test.
In Aurora Colorado, a second microwave pee incident landed another woman in hot water. Angelique Sanchez, 26 went to a Denver 7-eleven close to where she would soon be taking a drug test for employment. She put synthetic urine into the microwave, it exploded and the smell and look of urine filled the air and spilled on the counter.[9]
Unfortunately for Sanchez, pictured above, when she refused to clean up the urine, which she verified was not real urine, the clerk called the police. The cop discovered her at a nearby lab about to take her physical for employment. He spilled the beans and she was unable to finish her physical and we expect, did not get the job. In any case, it is not prudent, nor do instructions say, to warm up the urine onsite, nor to put it in the microwave longer than 10 seconds, which is likely necessary in order for it to explode. Also, the top is supposed to be taken off so that pressure does not build even if microwave settings overheat the sample. If one is going to take a chance at using synthetic urine, instructions need to be followed precisely and they should be followed at home, long before one reaches the testing center. The urine device should have been installed on the client being warmed by hand warmers, not being thrown into the microwave on the go. Hopefully, Sanchez learned her lesson. All she wanted was a job so we have sympathy for her, but she has to operate more skillfully going forward.
Federal Laws
- Federal: Conspiracy to defraud the US Government. 18 U.S.C. § 371—CONSPIRACY TO DEFRAUD THE UNITED STATES
On October 14, 2008, the United States District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania
Company president Gerald Wills and vice president Robert Catalano of Puck Technologies, makers of The Whizzinator conspired to defraud the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration
Result: Convicted. Penalty: Wills was sentenced to six months of prison and Catalano was sentenced to three years of probation.
State Laws
Making and transporting detox products are illegal in these states:
- Texas
- Louisiana
Selling detox products like synthetic urine is illegal in these states:
- Florida
- Kentucky
- New Jersey
Selling adulterants are illegal in these states:
- South Carolina
- Arkansas
- Illinois
- Maryland
- Nebraska
- North Carolina
- Oklahoma
